About Us
Cuckoo's Nest is a craft pottery based in Syston, Leicestershire, established in 1989 and run by Mick and Kate Glover who could be described as a couple of wrinklies. Although technically OAPs, we are refusing to grow old gracefully and the prospect of pipe and slippers by the fireside is not yet an option.
We work from a small workshop (shed) in our garden where we produce a range of high fired stoneware suitable for indoors or outdoors. Each piece is individually made and unique, with its own personal characteristics.
